Chenil Solar provides combined protection from manufacturers and our installer guarantees to ensure panels, inverters, batteries, and the installation itself are covered. Below are the warranty types, durations, exclusions, and the step-by-step claims process.

Warranty Types

Duration & Offer

  • Solar Panels:

    10–25 years (we install panels with manufacturer product warranties up to 25 years) .Power Output / Performance .25 years performance guarantee. Example: ≥98% first year, then 0.25–0.50% degradation/yr → ≥80–90% at year 25.
  • Inverters:

    5–12 years (extendable to 20–25 years for some models).
  • Batteries & Storage:

    8–15 years (cycle-based performance guarantees apply).
  • Workmanship:

    Chenil Solar workmanship warranty: 5 years (upgradeable to 10 years).
  • Roof :

    5 years (covers leaks/mounting failures caused by installation).

What Is Not Covered

  • 1. Damage due to misuse, abuse, vandalism, or theft.
  • 2. Extreme weather/natural disasters unless separately insured.
  • 3. Unauthorized repairs or modifications.
  • 4. Normal cosmetic wear (scratches, fading not affecting performance).
  • 5. Improper maintenance or operation outside manufacturer specs.

How To Make A Warranty Claim

  3. 3.Diagnostics: Remote or on-site inspection.

Tip: Keep invoices and register equipment with the manufacturer where required.

Transferability

Warranties can transfer to a new owner if you notify us within 30 days. Manufacturer terms still apply.

Maintenance

  • 2. Report abnormal performance quickly.
  • 3. Avoid unapproved third-party components.
  • 4. Allow scheduled inspections (if required).
