Our Warranty Commitment
All Chenil Solar products and installations come with a standard 12-month warranty starting
from the date of installation or delivery. This warranty guarantees that your solar equipment will perform as
promised under normal use. If a defect occurs during the warranty period, Chenil Solar will, at no cost to you:
- Repair the affected product, or
- Replace it with an equivalent product, or
- In rare cases where repair or replacement is not possible, process a refund.
What the Warranty Covers
- Manufacturing defects in solar panels, inverters, batteries, or accessories.
- Faults caused by poor workmanship during installation.
- Equipment that does not perform as described at the time of purchase.
What the Warranty Does Not Cover
- Damage due to misuse, negligence, or unauthorized alterations.
- Faults caused by natural disasters (floods, storms, fire, lightning).
- Normal wear and tear of consumable parts.
- Damage from third-party installation or repairs not authorized by Chenil Solar.
Returns Policy
Chenil Solar respects the rights of every customer under Nigerian consumer law. If you receive a product that is unsafe,
defective, or significantly different from what was described, you are entitled to return it.
- Major Defects: You may request a replacement or full refund.
- Minor Defects: We will repair or replace the item as quickly as possible.
- Return Timeline: All defects should be reported within a reasonable time after discovery (typically within 30 days).
How to Make a Warranty or Return Claim
- Contact our customer support team via phone, email, or in person.
- Provide proof of purchase (invoice, receipt, or contract).
- Share details of the fault, including photos or videos if available.
- Our technical team will inspect and verify the claim.
- Once approved, we will proceed with repair, replacement, or refund.
Processing Time
Approved warranty and return claims are processed within 14–30 business days,
depending on the availability of spare parts or replacement products.
