Terms and Conditions – Chenil Solar
These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern all transactions between
Chenil Solar (“we,” “our,” or “us”) and our clients (“you” or “the customer”).
By purchasing, installing, or using our products and services, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
1. Products and Services
- Chenil Solar supplies solar panels, inverters, batteries, accessories, and related installation services.
- All products are genuine, sourced from certified manufacturers, and meet Nigerian and international quality standards.
- Services include site assessment, system design, installation, maintenance, and after-sales support.
2. Pricing and Payments
- All prices are quoted in Nigerian Naira (₦) unless otherwise stated.
- Payments must be made in full or as agreed under a written installment/payment plan.
- Ownership of products transfers to the client only after full payment is received.
- Chenil Solar reserves the right to adjust prices in case of currency fluctuations, supplier increases, or government tariffs.
3. Delivery and Installation
- Delivery timelines are estimates; delays due to unforeseen circumstances (e.g., customs, transport, weather) will be communicated promptly.
- Installation is carried out by trained Chenil Solar technicians or approved partners.
- Clients must provide access to the site and ensure the environment is safe for installation work.
4. Warranty
- Solar panels: up to 25 years manufacturer warranty (performance-based).
- Inverters & batteries: 1–5 years warranty, depending on the manufacturer.
- Warranty applies only if installation, usage, and maintenance guidelines are followed.
- Unauthorized repairs or modifications will void the warranty.
5. Returns and Refunds
- Returns are accepted only for defective products reported within 7 days of delivery.
- Products must be in original packaging and condition.
- Refunds (where applicable) will be processed within 14 business days after inspection and approval.
- Installation or service fees are non-refundable once work has commenced.
6. Maintenance and Support
- Chenil Solar provides free support for the first 6 months after installation.
- Clients may subscribe to annual maintenance plans for continued system checks and servicing.
- Emergency support is available but may attract additional charges.
7. Liability
- Chenil Solar is not liable for damages caused by:
- Improper use of products.
- Unauthorized modifications or third-party interference.
- Power surges, lightning strikes, natural disasters, or other force majeure events.
- Clients are responsible for safe usage and reporting faults promptly.
8. Intellectual Property
- All designs, proposals, guides, and training materials remain the property of Chenil Solar.
- Clients may not copy, resell, or redistribute these materials without written permission.
9. Privacy
- Client information (such as addresses, contacts, and energy usage) will be kept confidential.
- Data may only be shared with third parties as required for installation, financing, or regulatory compliance.
10. Governing Law
- These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.
- Any disputes shall first be resolved through negotiation or mediation, failing which, they may be referred to arbitration or the courts in Nigeria.
11. Amendments
- Chenil Solar reserves the right to update or modify these Terms at any time.
- Clients will be notified of significant changes before they take effect.
